How does shipping and delivery work?
All orders include free delivery Australia-wide.
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow your delivery.
Shipping typically takes 5–9 business days, depending on your location — most orders arrive within a week.
If your order includes multiple items, they may arrive separately to ensure faster delivery.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking email with a link to follow its journey in real time.
If you can’t find it, check your spam folder — it sometimes lands there.
What if my order is delayed or hasn’t arrived?
While most orders arrive within the expected timeframe, occasional delays can happen.
If your order hasn’t arrived within 20 days, reach out to us and we’ll look into it straight away.
Can I change my shipping address?
If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we can update your address — just contact us as soon as possible.
If it’s already been dispatched, we’ll do our best to help, but changes may be limited depending on the carrier.
Do you ship internationally?
We’re an Australian-owned business. To ensure fast and reliable delivery, we ship orders from our network of warehouses, including locations within Australia and overseas.
Are there any customs/import fees?
No — there are no additional customs or import fees.

What are tuning forks?
Tuning forks are precision acoustic instruments that produce a pure, sustained tone when activated.
Originally designed to tune musical instruments, they are now widely used in meditation, bodywork and sound practices to support relaxation and nervous system regulation.
At Purelief, we see them as simple tools for helping the body return to a more settled state through sound and vibration.
How do I use a tuning fork?
Using a tuning fork is simple once you understand the basics. Follow the steps below.
Step 1 — How to Activate the Fork
- Hold the handle (stem) only.
Avoid touching the prongs, as this dampens the sound. - Tap the fork firmly on:
• A rubber activator (recommended), or
• The palm of your hand, or
• A firm muscle like your thigh.
Tap with intention — not gently. A confident strike produces a clearer, longer-lasting tone and stronger vibration.
The fork should begin to ring clearly for 10–40 seconds depending on the frequency.
Step 2 — Choose How You’ll Use It
There are two main ways to use tuning forks:
1. On the Body (Lower Frequencies)
Best for: 128Hz, 136.1Hz, 256Hz
After activating:
• Place the base of the stem gently onto a bony area such as:
– Sternum (centre of chest)
– Spine (upper back)
– Knees
– Ankles
– Shoulders
– Soles of the feet
Let the vibration absorb into the body.
Hold until the sound fades.
You may feel:
• A gentle buzzing sensation
• Subtle warmth
• Relaxation spreading through the area
Repeat 2–3 times per area if desired.
2. Around the Ears (Higher Frequencies)
Best for: 512Hz, 528Hz, 4096Hz
After activating:
• Hold the fork 5–10cm away from one ear.
• Keep it slightly behind the ear, not directly in front.
• Breathe slowly as the tone fades.
Then repeat on the other side.
You may notice:
• Mental clarity
• A settling of thoughts
• A gentle shift in awareness
Step 3 — Add the Breath
Breathing enhances the effect significantly.
Use this simple rhythm:
Inhale slowly for 4 seconds
Exhale slowly for 6 seconds
Longer exhales help the nervous system relax.
Continue breathing this way while the fork is sounding.
Simple 3–5 Minute Reset Routine
If you’re unsure where to start, try this:
- Activate 128Hz and place on sternum (centre of chest) — 3 rounds
- Activate 528Hz and hold near each ear — 2 rounds per side
- Finish with one final slow breath while listening to the fading tone
Total time: 3–5 minutes.
Simple. Grounded. Effective.
How Often Can I Use Them?
Daily use is completely fine.
Many people use them:
• In the morning to centre themselves
• Before sleep to unwind
• After exercise
• During meditation
Consistency matters more than intensity.

What do the different frequencies do?
Each frequency carries a slightly different experience. Here is a simple guide:
128Hz
Low frequency. Strong physical vibration.
Commonly used on joints, spine and sternum to support grounding and muscular relaxation.
136.1Hz (OM)
Low–mid frequency. Deep, steady tone.
Often used for centring, breathwork and meditation. Traditionally associated with the “OM” tone.
256Hz
Mid frequency. Balanced vibration and tone.
Often used for general body balancing and foundational sound work.
512Hz
Mid–high frequency. Clear and focused tone.
Commonly used near the ears for mental clarity and resetting attention.
528Hz
Higher frequency. More tonal than vibrational.

Where are your tuning forks made?
Our forks are manufactured in specialist acoustic facilities in China, which is where most tuning forks at this price point are produced.
Each batch is quality checked and packed here in Australia before shipping to customers.
How accurate are the frequencies?
Each fork is calibrated within standard industry tolerances.
Because tuning forks are physical instruments rather than digital devices, microscopic variation can occur — however, they remain within accepted acoustic standards and are suitable for professional and personal practice.
Do I need experience to use them?
Not at all.
Many people begin simply by:
• Activating the fork
• Holding it near the ears
• Taking 5–10 slow breaths

Do you offer wholesale or bulk purchase discounts?

What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-Day Risk-Free Trial, so you can try your products and see how they feel.
If it’s not for you, you can return your item within 30 days of delivery.
Some items may be excluded — this will always be clearly shown on the product page or at checkout.
How do I start a return?
Simply contact us with your order details and we’ll guide you through the process.
What are the return conditions?
To be eligible for a return:
- Your return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
- Items must not be marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” (unless faulty)
- Items must be returned in original packaging and in good condition
This includes all packaging, tags, and contents.
We may ask for a photo of the item before return to confirm its condition.
Do I need to pay for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
What happens if I return part of a bundle?
If an item from a bundle is returned, the bundle pricing will no longer apply and your refund will be adjusted accordingly.
How long do refunds take?
Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
